History of Phytos
In 1989, the two biologists, Dr. Andreas Hofmann and Dr. Klaus Denzel gratuated from the university of Ulm (Germany) and founded Phytos. In the early years the company was mostly focusing on the analysis of plant materials and drugs.
Soon they expanded their scope of analytical services an new business activities were started to meet the wishes and requests of the clients.
In 2002 the capacity of the former building at Reuttier Strasse in Neu-Ulm became too small. To keep pace with the rapid growth, the company moved to a new site at Leibnizstr. 9, Neu-Ulm and occupied an area of 1,600 sqm.
Over the last 22 years, Phytos has become a modern service provider with close to 90 employees. Together with the laboratory Technophyt BT in Hungary, a Phytos subsidiary, we are offering comprehensive analytical, physical-chemical and microbiological methods and full analytical service.
With a highly trained team, advanced analytical equipment and a total laboratory area of 2600 sqm we are well prepared to fulfill our custumor´s needs and requirements.
Globally operating manufacturers of human and veterinary drugs, biotherapeutics, medical devices and cosmetics rely on the analytical services of Phytos, when examining, developing and licensing their products.
With a convincing business idea, outstanding commitment and hard work, the foundation for the successful story of Phytos was laid in 1989.
